Refunds

Unspent Coil

Within fourteen days of purchase, unspent Coil is refunded in full on request. If the Coil has been spent, the purchase it went into is the thing you bought.

What a refund does to your balance

A refund debits the Coil it granted. If you have spent some of it, your balance can go below zero, and it stays there until it is earned or bought back. We do not clamp it — the ledger has to stay truthful, and a balance that lies about a refund is worse for everyone than a negative number.

Chargebacks

A chargeback does the same thing, plus a suspension while it is open. Talk to us first; it is faster, and it does not lock your account.

Statutory rights

Nothing here reduces a right you have under the consumer law where you live. If the two disagree, the law wins.
